The brand new Defiant Speed 2 inherits an existing iconic tooling that was on a former hero model and validated over years by many high-level players. It comes with the well-known Lightstrike midsole which provides a lightweight and low to the ground feeling as well as the existing Adiwear outsole. The upper is completely re-imagined. With a strong focus on comfort, lightweight and style, a lightweight mono mesh has been selected which enhances breathability. Suede pieces are strategically placed in the areas which will be touched the most – the tongue and heel tip – for valuable, haptic details. An injected TPU heel counter ensures a secure heel fit and the slingshot design in the heel speaks to the speed silo.
